Thai Food Terms : พจนานุกรมอาหารไทย 7 ภาษา
ศูนย์การแปลและการล่ามเฉลิมพระเกียรติ คณะอักษรศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย ได้จัดทำแอปพลิเคชัน “Thai Food Terms” โดยรวบรวมศัพท์ต่างๆเกี่ยวกับอาหารไทย เพื่ออำนวยความสะดวกในการสื่อสารกับชาวต่างชาติ มีให้เลือกถึง 7 ภาษา ได้แก่ อังกฤษ จีน ญี่ปุ่น ฝรั่งเศส เยอรมัน อิตาลี และสเปน ครอบคลุมเนื้อหามากกว่า 10 หมวด เช่น ชื่ออาหารคาวหวาน วิธีประกอบอาหาร เครื่องปรุงวัตถุดิบ พืชผักสมุนไพร เครื่องดื่ม เครื่องใช้ในครัว และอื่นๆ อีกมาก จุดเด่นของแอปพลิเคชันนี้คือการใช้งานที่ง่าย สะดวก และรวดเร็ว สามารถใช้บนมือถือและแท็บเล็ต วิธีการค้นหา สามารถทำได้หลายทาง เช่น ค้นจากหมวดคำศัพท์ คำ ภาพ หรือจะค้นจากดัชนีก็ได้ ทั้งนี้ได้รับความร่วมมือพัฒนาแพลตฟอร์มโดยศูนย์เทคโนโลยีอิเล็กทรอนิกส์และคอมพิวเตอร์แห่งชาติ (NECTEC)
แอปพลิเคชัน “Thai Food Terms” สามารถใช้งานได้ในวงกว้าง เหมาะสำหรับบุคคลในวงการต่างๆ อาทิเช่น นักแปล ล่าม มัคคุเทศก์ นักท่องเที่ยวชาวต่างชาติ เจ้าของร้านอาหารไทย แม่ค้าพ่อค้า บุคคลในวงการอุตสาหกรรมอาหาร หรือโรงเรียนสอนการประกอบอาหารไทย นิสิตนักศึกษา และประชาชนทั่วไป
ท่านสามารถดาวน์โหลดแอปพลิเคชัน “Thai Food Terms” ได้แล้วที่ App Store สำหรับระบบ iOS และ Google Play สำหรับระบบ Android

The Chalermprakiat Center of Translation and Interpretation (CCTI), Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University, in collaboration with the National Electronics and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC), has launched the application Thai Food Terms – an electronic dictionary of Thai gastronomy in order to facilitate communication between Thai people and foreigners. Thai Food Terms offers the translation of over 1,600 Thai food-related terms into 7 languages: English, Chinese, Japanese, French, German, Italian and Spanish, featuring 10 categories namely dish names, herbs and vegetables, ingredients and seasoning, beverages, kitchen utensils, cooking verbs and general culinary terms. Available on both iOS and Android platforms, the application allows smartphone and tablet users to search by categories, terms, images, or even index.
The application will serve a wide range of users, from translators, interpreters, tour guides and visitors to Thailand, to Thai restaurant owners, street food vendors, and people in the food industry, as well as Thai culinary schools, students, and interested individuals.
The app is available for download at App Store and Google Play.
